What this trip is
When the shallow reef isn't enough, this is the trip. We run 6–10 miles off Key Largo to the deep reefs, wrecks, and ledges in 50 to 300 feet of water — the structure that holds the bigger fish. Think grouper, amberjack, cobia, and kingfish, on heavier tackle that fights back. It's a real step up from the patch reef, and a favorite for anglers who've fished before and want to feel some weight on the line.
